    JOB OBJECTIVE :

    • Support all necessary IVVQ activities to allow the delivery of Video Management System (VMS) and CCTV together with IT integration in close coordination with IVVQ Engineer.
    • The IVVQ & Configuration Technician will be responsible to complete configuration of servers & NVRs from collecting and inputting configuration data consolidating geolocation data & verify the NVR are configured and functioning as designed.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Ensure IVVQ & configuration activity of VMS & IT requirements related to CCTV:

    • Collect CCTV sub-system configuration data from the OCS IO list; use this data to fill the configuration data for the CCTV Sub-system.
    • Collect the geolocation data for the CCTV system from the AutoCAD drawings consolidate this data within the CCTV configuration document.
    • Use the CCTV configuration document to extract the configuration data related to a specific station; use this data to fill in the CCTV application input files in order to generate the configuration data for that particular station using the CCTV configuration tool.
    • Coordinate with the BIM team to generate the layout files for station floors and import these into the CCTV configuration tool.
    • Perform the necessary steps in the CCTV configuration tool to verify the data entered into is correct and conforms to the requirement.
    • Use the configuration tool to generate the data files and script files for the configuration that is to be deployed for the respective station.
    • Coordinate with the project logistics to setup the server & storage hardware for the respective station on the staging platform.
    • Perform system administration tasks to setup the respective virtual machines to be ready for deployment of configuration data.
    • Deploy the configuration data generated from the CCTV configuration tool on to the servers.
    • Verify the deployment of the configuration data is done without any faults or errors.
    • Install OS on the NVR/s server, configure the NVR/s server and the storage as per the configuration plan and deploy the configuration for the respective NVR/s.
    • Use the operator's application on the operator workstation to verify and validate the data deployed. Such verification includes but not limited to:
    • Verify the respective operator can login with the correct credentials.
    • Verify the operator application layout & maps/layout/schematics are loaded as per the operator profile.
    • Verify the camera symbols match to the source AutoCAD Drawings, the camera names are as per the configuration document, the camera info panel reflects the cameras status i.e. camera is online and recording.
    • Verify the cameras are being recorded on the NVR for both seam less and playback recording.
    • Once the CCTV configuration deployed is verified & validated to work in standalone mode. The CCTV Technician shall proceed with the configuration for the redundancy of the NVR. Once the configuration for NVR redundancy is done, it has to be tested and verified to work.
    • Finally the VMs & NVR for the VMS part are made offline, the servers & storage are dismantled from the racks, packed and tagged for the respective station and handed over to the logistics team in order for the installation team to install it on site.
    • Verify & Validate the server & storage are installed at respective locations, the interconnections on the server are done as per the drawings and configuration data on the site.

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

    3+ years' experience in VMS & related IT systems and software with the following systems/technology:

    • Should possess the skills to administer basic level system administration tasks in both Windows Server and Desktop environment and Linux server administration, in Linux redhat/centos will be a plus.
    • Should have hands-on experience in working at least one of CCTV product in the market namely BVMS, Milestone, Genetec, Geutebruck, TKH, Indigo Vision etc. or any similar product.
    • Should be able to work with AutoCAD and have skills on reading and understanding drawings.
    • Should demonstrate skills in basic understanding and knowledge of networking in TCP/IP protocol stack.
    • Should have knowledge & understanding of working with different storage types such as NAS & SAN.
    • Should have knowledge & understanding of working with virtualization platforms, working with VMWare will be a plus.
    • Should possess & demonstrate skills in MS Office Applications esp. in Excel.

    Roles and Responsibilities
