             Coordinate all activities of Contractor with Operations related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, acceptance and performance testing, and handover of equipment and systems

             Prepare procedure and arrange pre-startup Audit.

             Oversee and monitor Contractor’s commissioning preparation and work activities, check availability of commissioning spares and consumables.

             Oversee maintenance and material data requirements for SAP finalization by Contractor in coordination with Operations Department.

    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Commercial Contract Specialist is responsible for drafting, reviewing and monitoring adherence to Client’s commercial contracts, including power and/or water purchase and fuel supply agreements. This includes supporting Client’s representation during any commercial contract related claims, actions and negotiations with external parties in coordination with the Contract Management Department Manager.

     

    MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Commercial Contract Management

    • Drafting Client’s commercial contracts in coordination with Capacity Procurement and Fuel Management colleagues, as well Legal Advisors where necessary
    • Monitoring the implementation of Client’s commercial contracts, seeking relevant technical and legal advice where necessary
    • Evaluating the impact of proposed commercial contract amendments in coordination with relevant technical experts and the Contract Management Department Manager
    • Conducting internal risk analysis and impact studies concerning any proposed changes to IWPP PWPAs during their term, participating in any subsequent technical negotiations
    • Challenging and revising the technical content of generation/desalination contracts during expansion and decommissioning stages, as well supply agreements with Distribution companies (DISCOs)
    • Challenging and revising fuel-supply agreements, drafting Client’s Fuel Master Services

    About the Position

    This position is part of the engineering design team. The Mechanical Engineer would be assessing  the structure carbody concerns due to  integration of the new equipment in the context of the refurbishment, develop interfaces of interiors with the carbody, design the brackets, carbody interior design, material selection and  developing structural interfaces. The Mechanical Integration Engineer needs also to interface with the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) for carbody and bogie structure aspects.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support the mechanical design team in order to ensure that the main constrains in terms of carbody structure are respected.
    • Assess the correct application of EN 12663, UIC 566, UIC 615 and UIC 515 in the context of the carbody and bogie structure assessment.
    • Assess the structure design in term of Fire Barrier protection.
    • Review and approve the Mechanical Integration documentation which determine the design of the mechanical interface/fixing of the equipment with the carbody structure.
    • Produce relevant mechanical integration documentation (calculation notes, drawings…) required by the project.
    • Assess the 3D models and FEM analyses conducted for mechanical integration matters.
    • Undertake the development of carbody 3D model of existing metro cars with structural details and interfaces. Being  refurbishment works, re-engineering on the structures, models & interfaces would be an important responsibility   
    • Good knowledge of composites , panels, relevant standards
    • Develop  concept designs of  the interiors including seats, flooring, ceilings, ducts , lighting  systems , air conditioning system,  draught screens etc.
    • Develop industrial designs for presentation to customer
    • Select suitable material by having wide range of knowledge on the cost effective solution using the materials approved for being used in metro car
    • Review and approve the Mechanical Integration documentation to determine the design of the mechanical interface/fixing of the equipment with the carbody structure.
    • Support the Production team in terms of industrialization/methods for the mechanical integration of the new equipment.
    • Ensure that safety constraints is considered in design, standards, specification, procedures, and maintenance documents.

    • The Service holder is responsible, under the FPSO Hook-up Manager's responsibility, for all the scheduling, planning and progress measurement activities and for all the reporting activities at Offshore Site carried-out encompassing Hook-up, Carry-over, Commissioning & Start-up activities covering all packages.     Experience Requirements:

    ·        12 years' relevant experience in the EPC business, serving Oil & Gas industry with local & regional exposure and a strong emphasis on offshore projects. International exposure is an added value.

    ·        In-depth knowledge of the business, operating environment and challenges of the EPC industry.

    ·        Knowledgeable of financial/legal/commercial/contractual aspects & terminology used in the context of EPC industry.

           

    Job Role & Responsibilities:

    ·        Understand business challenges of the local/regional/ global EPC industry, analyze trends & data and deploy market intelligence to tap into potential markets and identify new opportunities.

    ·        Conduct research on industry opportunities & emerging trends to provide expert advice on future business prospects and areas that the Company must focus on.

    ·        Represent the company at client meetings & events to strengthen relationships with clients and project a positive Company image.

    ·        Develop country specific business development plan and ensure integration with the company's strategy.

    ·        Generate reports on competition and conduct SWOT analysis of the company & its competitors to leverage the Company's competitive advantage to stay ahead of present and potential competition in the industry.

    ·        Prepare presentations & hold discussions with clients to understand their needs and follow up on new business opportunities.

    ·        Active involvement   in the development of business proposals & pricing strategies and closing of deals in collaboration with management & Finance/Legal/Contracts departments to ensure that project/client requirements can be achieved.

    ·        Prepare bids strategy assessments and evaluate potential projects for consideration by the company proposal committee and monitor related progress and estimations.

    ·        Liaise with the Proposals and Contracts departments to provide inputs for bids.

    ·        Ensure that all communication with clients are accurate in content & format and are in accordance with Company standards.

    ·        Solicit client feedback throughout the project proposal and execution phases.

    ·        Maintain a database of current and potential clients.

    ·        Identify options of contractors / suppliers to optimize costs and increase company's competitiveness in new markets.

    ·        Contribute to the development of marketing & promotional literature and products.

     

    Educational Background:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

    A Master's degree in Business Management would be of added value.
