    Job Purpose

    • Coordinate activities in respect to detailed design of jackets for Offshore Structures (i.e., Compression platform, LQ, flare tower, Riser platforms), technical and execution definition, procurement, installation and testing/commissioning.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.

    Key Job Accountabilities

    • Analyse technical attachments and scope description of structures related purchase orders to ensure compliance with scope description in related contracts.

    JOB DIMENSIONS

    • Assist and support the Commissioning Site Leader in Leading Mechanical activities of the EPCIC5 Contractors activities linked to the Commissioning of the 2 well head platforms for preparation and execution phases.
    • The Commissioning Mechanical Leader will report directly to the Commissioning Site Leader
    • He is in charge:
    • To witness and/or verify all Mechanical system and Package completion activities performed by the Construction Contractor including approval of punch lists.
    • To Lead all Mechanical Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for assigned sub-systems.     Activities

    General:

    Pre-FID Phase:

    Prior to taking the HSE Lead role post FID, the incumbent will take the temporarily affiliate role as a safety advisor who will be reporting to the HSE Manager.

    • The individual shall be mobilized in mission to TEPB as soon as recruited
    • The pre-FID role is focused on closing the outstanding 2022 Maestro Audit findings and ensuring that the HSE management system is up to date prior to joining the LP Compression Project team

    Our Client specializes in the Nuclear Sector.
    * This position is a trained, qualified, experienced decon technician who provides decontamination
    services to protect the health and safety of the public and employees from the hazards of
    radiation through controlling contamination at the source and provide timely response in recovery of contaminated areas.
    * Decon Technicians can work independently and provide decon services as directed by RP technicians.
    * Decontamination services can be routine such as pulling contaminated radwaste and protective clothing from contaminated areas, housekeeping in the RCA to maintain areas non-contaminated, or can be specialized critical activities such as cavity decon and maintaining water clarity in pools and canals through operation of tri-nuclear pump/filter operations. Services also are responsible for removal of any contaminated boron which could require use of a low-pressure hot water washer provided by the customer.
    * Decon personnel will be responsible for keeping services at the containment entry/exit point to ensure the areas inside and adjacent to the contaminated areas are maintained clean.
    * Decon services will be dedicated for work activities such as, steam generator, reactor coolant pump, reactor head disassembly/assembly when these work activities are scheduled.
    * Decon personnel maybe asked to perform a post decon contamination survey for information only to determine if radiation protection can perform official survey for release of the area.
    * Provide decon services that are qualified to wear respiratory protection and can wear additional protective clothing when required by the radiation work permit.     Job Description - Radiation Protection Technician

    Our Client specializes in the Nuclear Sector. Duties:

    * This position is a trained, qualified, experienced Radiation Protection Technician who provide radiological protection to protect the health and safety of the general public and employees from the hazards of radiation through surveys, analyses, sampling and compliance with regulations, standards and procedures.

    * Is qualified to perform all junior technician duties and responsibilities

    * Supervises activities of the junior technician

    * Provide job coverage for radiological concerns during routine and special radiological work activities including continuous job coverage and remote monitoring activities when assigned. Special activities include medium and high radiological risk activities, such as radiography, diving operations, primary steam generator maintenance, in-core movement.

    * Perform routine and job specific radiation surveys (including personnel exposure, breach of systems, area, and equipment contamination, air samples) to assess radiological conditions.

    * Prepare, analyze, survey, package, and ship radioactive material, if assigned.

    * Designate and operate temporary RCA as needed

    * Monitor and perform Access Controls for various types of radiological conditions, such as for high, locked, and very high radiation areas, contaminated and high contaminated area, discrete radioactive particle areas, alpha and airborne contamination areas

    * Prepare and conduct pre-job briefings per site procedures

    * Establish and utilize necessary engineering controls when required by ALARA Plans and or Radiation Work Permits.

    * Prevent the release of radioactive material from the RCA

    * Implement applicable operating experiences associated with the work activities

    * Document complete, legible, and accurate records Utilize appropriate human performance tools when performing work activities

    * Monitor and enforce all radiological safety standards as written in RP procedures

    * Conduct "face to face" turnover to ensure the Receiver understands the current and expected radiological conditions Wear respiratory protection devices when required by the RWP

    * Stop Work and report to supervisor any work that is different then what was briefed, or as identified in procedure, RWP, or ALARA Plan, or if poor radworker behaviors are observed

    * Perform survey and decontamination of personnel. Perform unconditional radiological release surveys

    Location : Ruwais OR AL FAYA - Abu Dhabi, UAE ( then to be assigned in Dubai OR Sharjah OR Fujairah after few months )

    Duration : 6 Months

    Work Status : Resident, Single, 6 days a week

    Mandatory Requirements :

    • With valid UAE Driver's license ( 4x4 vehicle is needed in visiting different sites in Abu Dhabi )
    • With experience in Testing and Commissioning

    Job Responsibilities :

    Commissioning and Validation activities of the Project

    • Electrical switch operation of all PS&D systems installed in ISS, PS, WSCER, FF and O&M facilities
    • Loto procedures implementation
    • PTW management to any Hitachi area under T&C responsibility
    • Access control management to any COMPANY area under T&C responsibility
    • Periodical survey of any COMPANY area under T&C responsibility
    • Emergency responses in case of unplanned shutdown/failure on Hitachi systems under T&C
    • to support to the Local T&C Manager the progress of testing activities notifying any
    • delays of commissioning activities and proposing recovery actions
    • To supervise the Hand Over process with Construction by reviewing HO documentation and arranging the needed inspections with Test Leads on the systems installed
    • To support the maintenance activities planned by systems as per applicable
