    Activities

    • To Track, report of all pre-commissioning / commissioning activities and the receipt and review of all Completion dossiers Ready for Commissioning and Achievement of Commissioning.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy and HSSE rules and regulations.
    • To have knowledge of Company and Project technical referential and international standards related to his area of responsibility, taking knowledge from them for application to the Project. To develop, as required, discipline specific instructions onboard vessel.
    • To ensure proper answer (in coordination with Offshore CPY Site Representative onboard Rigid Pipelay Vessel) to CONTRACTOR technical Queries related to his discipline. To ensure promotion, implementation, and achievement by SURF Package offshore personnel of the Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy.
    • To ensure all along installation phase that the SURF Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments, is implementing properly his vessel execution plan, and is performing safely his activities as per Project specifications, design and codes.
    • As such, he shall:
    • Participate to daily/regular meetings with Contractor/Subcontractors about NDT/QC discipline matters.
    • Monitor and control the implementation onboard vessel of the approved welding and NDT procedures, Surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans.
    • Ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractor's QC inspection team.
    • Review and ensure that all material certificates and certification files are up to date, including documentation from vendors and contractors

    • Ensure that Job Risk Assessments / Job Safety Analysis are prepared for specific operations.
    • Ensure Safety Green Light program is deployed at Toolbox & Pre-Job Talks / pre-shift meetings.
    • Perform routine and random HSE inspections to monitor HSE procedures implementation on site and follow up of actions.
    • Conduct a follow-up of regular formal audits/inspections together with CONTRACTOR representatives (verification exercises, walkthroughs, specific inspections…).

    Activities:

    • Review Design Proposals from the Alliances (Design proposals include, Specifications, Procedures, Calculation Notes, & MTOs).
    • Ensure that Design proposals from the Alliances meet the requirements and expectations of the various Exhibits in the FEED Contract.
    • Review documents issued by the Alliances for the Scope of Work relevant to the Connection & Tooling Systems.
    • Participate in Design Reviews, and Technical Workshops and any other Meetings as may be assigned by the SPS Lead in the Scope of Work relevant to the Connection & Tooling Systems.
    • Ensure that Interface issues from other Packages relevant to the Connection & Tooling Systems are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Liaise with Company Specialists within the various Technical departments in HQ to ensure Design proposals from the Alliances meet the requirements of the Company specifications.
    • Review and Disposition Deviation/Derogation Requests, and Technical Queries that may originate from the Alliances.
    • Assist the SPS Lead to identify and manage risks associated with the FEED activities within the Package.
    • Provide on a regular basis, a status Report of activities to the SPS Lead.
    • Contribute to the Lessons Learned to be developed.
    • Contribute to preparing the Close-out Report relevant to the Connection & Tooling Systems.
    • Contribute to the issuance of the EPSCC Technical Specification

    Qualifications & Experience Required:

    • Qualification: Graduate In Engineering (Masters Level), In Petroleum Industry.
    • Depending On Experience, Candidates With Bsc May Be Also Given Consideration.
    • Languages: English (Fluent Verbal & Written)
    • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 Years
    • Experience Within Projects: 6+ Years' Experience In The Engineering Manufacturing Follow-Up Of Subsea Connection & Tooling Systems
    • To Have Experience In The Application Of Industry Standards And Codes Related To Subsea Hardware And Systems Such As API 6A & 17D, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, API RP-17P, API RP-17R, API RP-2A, DNV-RP-F119, As Well As Other ISO, DNV And NORSOK Equivalent Standards.
    • Must Have Knowledge Of The Connection Systems (Hubs And Connectors) Engineering And Manufacturing Processes Of The Major Subsea Hardware Suppliers
    • Previous Experience Of Company / Operator Representation During Similar Type Project Execution Is A Distinct Advantage.
    • Ability To Work On Projects In A Complex And Multicultural Environment.

    Location: France / Paris and later Contractor Controls Work Unit location

    Duration: 12 Months Renewable

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring the flow of information.
    • Mail management:
    • Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail, processing emails, if necessary, electronic, and physical filing plan,
    • Editing documents, link with the reprography and distribution department (headquarters, subsidiaries ...).
    • Preparing, and editing notes, Minutes od Meeting, letters, and documents, collecting and formatting dashboards, graphs, statistics, writing notes and/or correspondence from oral or handwritten instructions, and presentations.
    • Managing diaries, organising appointments, meetings, and travel (mission orders, visa requests and expense claims, booking hotels, transport, restaurants, meeting rooms ...) for the team members
    • Managing the arrival / departure of employees, trainees, apprentices, service providers (office, removals, authorisations, etc...)
    • Back up for purchase requests in the SAP system (training will be provided on SAP)
    • Management of the Project offices

    Communication:

    • Receiving, screening, and transmitting telephone calls
    • Registration for training courses, conferences, and seminars.
    • Circulation of internal documents (journals, legal documentation, etc.)
    • Welcoming visitors and new arrivals
    • Updating the Directorate's communication media: intranet site, organisation charts, presentations ...
    • Coordinating with the different sites on logistics, HR and project assistance topics
    • Ensuring continuity of service

    Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements:

    • Professional Experience: +10 in similar Project Assistant positions in the Energy Sector
    • Education Level / Diploma: BTS / Bachelor Degree / Master
    • Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken). Arabic will be a plus but is not compulsory.
    • Good command of MS Office Package (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and the ability to work with numbers (spreadsheets, calculation of percentage, tracking amounts, ...)
