    · Direct & Supervise Technical Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering for NFPS Compression EPC-2 (COMP 2) to ensure all technical safety and loss prevention engineering requirements such as philosophies, codes, standards and practices are met during NFPS Compression projects design development & execution.     Qualifications

    · Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety Engineering or equivalent.

    Knowledge and/or Experience

    · Minimum 15 years' experience within industrial safety and loss prevention in the oil and gas industry with emphasis on risk assessments with different methods, safe systems of work, and safety studies, preferably in a major project environment with at least 5 years in Offshore projects.

    · Experience with Quantitative Risk Assessments.

    · Experience with fire fighting design.

    · Experience with HAZID, HAZOP, Bow Tie Analysis, FERA and EERA.

    · Experience in developing Design Safety Case.

    During the Detailed Engineering Phase, the job holder is in charge to:

    • Be involved in all process design aspects of the project.
    • Ensure the process engineering discipline & international norms and standards as well as Company rules (where applicable) are fully implemented during engineering execution.
    • Be responsible for the quality review of process discipline documentation, but also other related disciplines interface documents as applicable.
    • Verify that comments are returned without delay and with the required quality.
    • Contribute to the Process discipline development at detail engineering phase, maintain updated at all times the Process Concept with the latest engineering development.
    • Continuously be involved in identification and technical discussions oninterfaces.
    • Provide overall guidance pertaining to safe work practices on process in design, risk analysis and hazard management within the project perimeter.
    • Review and propose response to letters, technical queries, deviation requests for project management approval.
    • Lead the exchanges with HQ experts in case of any project derogation requests in process discipline if applicable or any questions.
    • Expedite DBOOM Contractor to issue deliverables with the right quality level and as per the approved MDRs.
    • Assess on regular basis the progress of DContractors deliverables by reviewing the MDRS for his discipline.
    • Participate in HAZOP / HAZID by CONTRACTOR, set-up of action list and close out process.
    • Coordinate HQ Project Review preparation and manage responses to as applicable to Process discipline.
    • Review and comment process related vendor documents and assist Engineering manager in technical problem solving at all stage of work.
    • Attend to vendors meeting as required.
    • The job holder provides support to challenge the DBOOM contractors and promote alternatives design to optimize the cost, work, and schedule.
    • The job holder timely review and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to process deliverables; liaise with other engineering disciplines (for ex. Mechanical rotating, Instrumentation, tech safety and entity (Operations, HSE...) as required.
    • The job holder ensures that the engineering activities related to process matters are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, international codes and standards for any process installations with required level of quality, high HSE Standards, with respect of the Project highly environmentally sensitive environment, and within the agreed time schedule and cost.
