    Job Purpose

    Process Job Engineer is required to generate process documents and support proposals and
    project teams for the process group for particular project.

    About the Job
    * Working on Basic, FEED or detailed engineering design complied with project requirements

  • Position : Senior Contract Engineer (C&P)

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Graduate degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
    • Graduate with a good level of contractual understanding, with at least 8 years' experience of contracts management on onshore/offshore oil & gas project.
    • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) with sound communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of standard contracts and CFT process
    • Good knowledge of GEP for tender execution.

    Activities

    Contract Tender Phase

    • Administer the tendering process during EPC CFT to ensure the "due process" is respected and timely progress is achieved, including preparation and issuance of communication documentation with Tenderers, organisation of tender clarification meetings, organisation of tender correspondence, update of a register and filing, etc.:
    • Prepare the Call for Tender documentation and specific Tender and Tender Evaluation Procedures in line with Project and Company procedures.
    • Ensure consistency in various contract documentations and deliverables and ITT documents
    1. Liaise with the relevant Major Projects Manager(s) in Charge on technical issues (DUET) to ensure that these are adequately incorporated into the tender process.
    2. Collaborate with various cross departments to ensure timely CFT preparation and readiness
    3. Manage, monitor and control (in liaison with C&P entity) all required contractual process for CFT, ensure that all recommendations are made as per the best contractual and commercial terms
    4. Ensure Project team are kept up to date with tender progress and developments, obtain any necessary attendance at meetings and obtain all necessary approvals.
    5. Prepare clarification meetings with potential bidders during various stage of CFT
    6. Actively report CFT progress and advise on potential delays, put forward suggestions for improvements in cost and schedule
    7. Validate Tenderer compliance with Bank Guarantee, Parent Company Guarantee requirements, Insurances and the like.
    8. Evaluate contractual proposals and assist in evaluation of technical and commercial proposals where applicable.
    9. Assist in the preparation of the Tender Recommendation Report and the Recommendation to Award.
    10. Prepare and participate to the contract committee.
    • Prepare final contract documents and obtain signatures for execution of the contract.
    • Manage close out the Pre-contract phase (e.g. notification of unsuccessful Tenderers, storage of tender documentation and correspondence, etc).

    Contract Execution Phase

    • Post award, the Contract Engineer is directly responsible for ensuring the Contracts assigned are executed in accordance with the agreed contractual terms and conditions and that Company interest is protected at all times:
    • Develop within area of responsibility: Project Contract procedures and execution plans
    • Provide advice to the Company representative on contractual issues, and prepare / validate all contractual correspondence.
    • Update of a correspondence register and filing.
    • Analyse requests for change orders, and prepare / validate change order documents where appropriate.
    • Handle Contractor claims, prepare counter claims - liaise with Project team & other entities as necessary
    • Ensure all contractual certificates, guarantees and insurances required under the Contract are in place and in the due time.
    • Prepare certificates to be issued to Contractor by Company in accordance with the contract.
    • Coordinate the processing of Contractor's monthly applications for payment, and verifying invoice submissions.
    • The Senior Contract Engineer is responsible for maintaining a database which tracks existence and the evolution of contracts, change orders, certificates, approvals and the like during the life of the project for the Contracts assigned.
    • The Senior Contract Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of all contractual data necessary to be recorded in PALM (ERP system) for establishing commitments, their follow up and invoice payment for Contracts assigned.

    Experience and Qualifications:

  • We are looking for a Biodiversity & Projects Specialist (HSEQ) :
    Location : Doha, Qatar
    Duration : 12 months

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Master's/Bachelor's degree in environmental science or marine ecologist / biologist or in related discipline.
    • Minimum 15 years professional experience in biodiversity system and project development in an operational setting (preferably oil and gas or other similar industry).
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of international and national legislation and regulatory related with biodiversity system, including but not limited to Qatar Regulation, IPIECA, etc.
    • High level expertise in the field of biodiversity conservation related to marine species, including knowledge of and experience in biodiversity conservation legislation and policy, including for preparation of reports, submissions and correspondence to Ministerial level that relate to biodiversity conservation and management.
    • Well-developed ability to source and synthesize complex scientific information for use in biodiversity system development.
    • Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with others, resolve conflicts, and develop practical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
    • Experience and expertise in supervision, guidance and mentoring of other staff in a team environment or ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals.
    • Good understanding of ISO 14001 EMS, preferably with experience of system auditing and implementation.
    • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • In relation with COMPANY activities, operations, and projects:
    • Develop Biodiversity Policy and Strategy for COMPANY
    • Define a biodiversity management system with policy, objectives, guidelines, action plan, reporting and monitoring in line with stakeholders' expectations (MECC, Qatar Energy, Total Energies, key stakeholders)
    • Develop biodiversity metrics from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or other reference
    • Develop and conduct biodiversity projects, with relevant advice, surveys, and studies to support COMPANY ambitions to preserve biodiversity and support project permits (CTC).
    • Propose mitigation and when required compensatory measures to preserve biodiversity and monitor their effectiveness
    • Ensure budget requirements to implement biodiversity action plan and mitigation for projects
    • Ensure internal and external communication related to biodiversity and for projects
    • Represent COMPANY externally on Biodiversity and for Projects
    • Engage with National and International projects of biodiversity interest as required.
    • Support COMPANY Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO14001:2015 EMS standards.

    • Lead RGS special projects with mandate from IPP Manager focused on organizational performance improvement within RGS including: operating rhythm optimization, capability building, simplification and /or lean projects, performance improvement projects, multi-disciplinary and cross-teams audits, etc…
    • Assist team leads or write/update RGS processes documentation
    • Promote Continuous Improvement mindset within RGS units by organizing information/training/specific sessions

    Qualifications And Experience Required:

    • 7-10 years' experience in Lean / Management of Change
